Player Scores: R4

Here we are with Round 4’s player scores!

Alice Teague-Neeld is Miss Consistency this week, staying put in third position of our top 5 while everyone else around her changes. Pocket rocket Georgie Horjus is the top scorer for Round 4, followed by Courtney Bruce. Latanya Wilson comes in at number 4, and Paige Hadley makes her first appearance in the top 5 this year in 5th.

Some interesting player score stats for Round 4:

• Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard is definitely warming up in her second game back, scoring 176 points to come in at 10th

• Rookie Jessie Grenvold had a strong game - in only 25 minutes, she had an intercept, 6 deflections and a rebound to score 127.5 points

• Sanmarie Visser had a solid introduction to the SSN, with 2 intercepts, 5 deflections, 1 rebound and 3 pickups to score 104 points

• Mary Cholhok snapped up 11 rebounds for 55 of her points

• Courtney Bruce had a return to form with 11 deflections, 4 rebounds and an intercept after Ash Ervin was benched early in the game

• Paige Hadley’s player of the match performance included 24 goal assists, 32 feeds and 16 second phase receives

• The Giants’ backline of Sligar, Ward and O’Brien pinched 8 intercepts in their 1 goal thriller over the Thunderbirds

• The Vixens were far from their clinical selves in their win over cross-town rivals the Mavericks, with 180 negative points across the team, the most by far of any other team this round (losing teams included)

I’ve developed a Google Sheets document that lists each player and their scores by round. This will be updated after each round.

The first tab is the Overall Leaderboard, and will be sorted by total points. The second tab will be sorted by the most recent round (i.e. whoever scored the most points in the most recent round will be at the top).
