Player Scores: R7

Here we are with Round 7’s player scores!

For the second time this year, our top 5 players are all from different clubs.

Latanya had an incredible game against the Mavs, grabbing 7 intercepts, 8 deflections and a rebound to pick up the player of the match, and her first top score in our fantasy league. Her score this week also lifted her to second place overall this season.

For the fourth time this season, ATN makes our top 5. She had 38 feeds, 23 goal assists, 3 pickups and 4 deflections. With an average score of nearly 205 points per game, ATN remains on top of the overall leaderboard.

RBD had another strong game, making our top 5 for the second time this year. She had 7 gains, 5 deflections and 3 intercepts.

JLP has her first appearance in our top 5 with her performance against the Fever, with 38 feeds, 22 goal assists, 2 deflections and a pickup.

Hannah Mundy joins the top 5 for her second time this year, with 34 feeds, 22 goal assists, an intercept and a deflection to pick up player of the match.

Some interesting player score stats for Round 7:

  • Unfortunately in her 150th game, Steph Fretwell had the highest negative scores of the round, throwing 2 intercepts, with 4 general play turnovers and missing 7 goals to lose 43 points. She still managed to score 124 points, largely due to her 14 goals, 4 super shots and 12 feeds.

  • ATN and JLP topped the feeds this round with 38 each, interestingly in the same game!

  • Lara Dunkley had a good game in a losing team, with 32 feeds, 22 goal assists, 2 deflections and 15 CPR for her 182 points.

  • Sasha Glasgow was top scorer for the Mavs in Round 7 as she continues her comeback. She played a full game, had 4 super shots, 15 goal assists, 14 CPR and an intercept to rack up 146 points.

  • Though Helen Housby was overtaken by Latty in the overall leaderboard, she top scored for the Swifts this week with 216 points. She had 12 goals, 4 super shots, 21 goal assists and a deflection.

  • Latty’s 338 this round is the highest player score we’ve seen in our comp, eclipsing Ash Ervin’s 320.5 points in Round 3.

  • Kiera Austin also scored over 200 points, with her 15 goals, 5 super shots, 18 goal assists and 2 deflections.

I’ve developed a Google Sheets document that lists each player and their scores by round. This will be updated after each round.

The first tab is the Overall Leaderboard, and will be sorted by total points. The second tab will be sorted by the most recent round (i.e. whoever scored the most points in the most recent round will be at the top).
