Here we are with Round 12’s player scores!
This week it is a very sky blue Top 5! Kim Brown takes top spot, with 4 gains, 9 deflections, a pickup and 11 CPRs for her 246 points.
Tayla Fraser also had an outstanding game, with 37 feeds, 24 goal assists, 27 CPRs and 2 deflections.
Very close behind was Molly Jovic, with 44 feeds, 32 goal assists and 3 pickups.
Alice Teague-Neeld had 40 feeds, 26 goal assists, 17 CPRs and 3 pickups in another consistent game.
Lara Dunkley joins the top 5 for the first time this season, with 23 feeds, 12 goal assists, 2 intercepts, a deflection, 3 pickups and 14 CPRs.
Some interesting player score stats for Round 12:
Shanice Beckford had a standout game this week, scoring 205 points with 16 goals, 17 feeds, 10 goal assists, 3 deflections, an intercept, 2 pickups and 21 CPRs.
Isabelle Shearer had a quiet game with 4 deflections and 1 pickup, and she gave away 17 penalties and a turnover for only 57 points.
In her 200th game, Jo Harten shot 27 goals (incl. 3 Super Shots), 9 goal assists, 3 rebounds and 2 pickups.
The Lightning really felt Cara Koenen’s absence this week. Steph Fretwell shot at only 65%, and Reilley Batcheldor at 82% - I’m surprised we didn’t see Jane Cook take the court to try something different.
Unsurprisingly, the Mavs had the highest team Fantasy points score this week, with 1220 points.
Sarah Klau had a good game this week, with 3 intercepts, 4 deflections and 5 gains for her 200.5 points.
Hannah Petty had another captain’s knock in Round 12, with 5 deflections, 3 gains, 6 CPRs, a pickup and 3 feeds for 182 points.
The Vixens had the equal highest general play turnovers this week (19, equal with the Thunderbirds), which is very unusual for a team that normally treasures possession.
I’ve developed a Google Sheets document that lists each player and their scores by round. This will be updated after each round.
The first tab is the Overall Leaderboard, and will be sorted by total points. The second tab will be sorted by the most recent round (i.e. whoever scored the most points in the most recent round will be at the top).
