Player Scores: R10

Here we are with Round 10’s player scores!

For the third time this season, we have 5 players from 5 different clubs in our top 5 scorers.

Latanya Wilson nabs her second top score of the year, and jumps back up to the top of the overall ladder. She had 10 deflections, 3 intercepts, 9 gains and 2 rebounds in her starring role in the Thunderbirds’ win over the Firebirds.

Liz Watson remains in the top 5 for the third round in a row, with another huge 56 feeds, 18 goal assists, 23 CPR, 2 intercepts and a deflection.

Just 1 point behind her former teammate, Kiera Austin makes her second appearance in our top 5, with 20 goals, 28 feeds, 26 goal assists, 2 deflections and an intercept.

Macy Gardner is in 4th spot this week, with 39 feeds, 17 goal assists, 2 deflections and 28 CPR.

Maddie Hay rounds out the top 5 for Round 10, with her 54 feeds, 28 goal assists, 20 CPR and 1 deflection performance.

Some interesting player score stats for Round 10:

  • With her team-high 229 points this week, Alice Teague-Neeld now has the highest number of scores above 200 points in our league, achieving that in 6/10 rounds so far.

  • Ruby Bakewell-Doran continues to do all she can to lift her side, grabbing a round-high 5 intercepts to help her 183 points.

  • Sophie Dwyer had a strong game this week, just missing out on the top 5 with her highest score of the season - 230 points. She had 32 goals at 91%, 14 feeds and 2 deflections in her player of the match performance.

  • Liz Watson is an absolute feeding machine. She had another 56 feeds this week, the highest of the weekend. She also leads the league for CPRs.

  • Molly Jovic was far and away the Mav’s best player this week with her 207 points. She had 36 feeds, 25 goal assists, 3 deflections and 3 pickups. The next best was Parmy on 153.

  • Despite only losing to the Vixens by 2 points, the Swifts had the lowest overall team Fantasy points score with only 842.5 points. The next lowest was the Mavs with 960.

  • With her 326 points this week, Latty now has the 2 highest scores of the season (with her 338 in Round 7). This week she had 10 deflections, 3 intercepts and 2 rebounds.

  • I think Jo Weston’s selection as player of the match in the Vix vs Swifts game. She had 44.5 Nissan Net Points, while Austin had 114 & Garbin had 107.5. Not to say NNP are the way player of the match should be decided, but often that is the way!

I’ve developed a Google Sheets document that lists each player and their scores by round. This will be updated after each round.

The first tab is the Overall Leaderboard, and will be sorted by total points. The second tab will be sorted by the most recent round (i.e. whoever scored the most points in the most recent round will be at the top).
