It’s finally come and gone - Round 1 of the 2025 SSN season!

Here are the top 5 player scores for Round 1, with a surprise leader! Macy Gardner had a ripper start to the season and ends up on top, with two Thunderbirds behind her in Georgie Horjus & Shamera Sterling-Humphrey, with only half a point between them.

Alice Teague-Neeld comes in at number 4, with Sarah Klau landing position 5 for Round 1.

Some interesting player score stats for Round 1:

• ATN scored big with 42 feeds, for 84 points

• Macy still came first, despite losing 20 points by throwing 4 intercept passes. She also had 6 deflections, 1 intercept and 3 gains to bump her score. She had high feeds and goal assists, and scored the 30 points for the Player of the Match

• Mary Cholhok lost a huge 64 points in missed goals

• Erin O’Brien, Tara Hinchliffe and Amy Parmenter also scored round-high 80 points for intercepts (4 each)

• Grace Nweke scored 104 points for regular goals

• Sasha Glasgow scored 162 points in her first game since 2023

• Debutant for the Giants Hope White scored 108.5 points in only 3 quarters!

I’ve developed a Google Sheets document that lists each player and their scores by round. This will be updated after each round.

The first tab is the Overall Leaderboard, and will be sorted by total points. The second tab will be sorted by the most recent round (i.e. whoever scored the most points in the most recent round will be at the top).
